In line with the Gazette Notification No. 04.00.0000.423.22.002.20.138 dated 15 July 2025, issued by the Cabinet Division of the Government of Bangladesh, State Mourning Day was solemnly observed today, 16 July 2025, at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital to commemorate July Martyrs’ Day.
As part of the observance, the national flag was flown at half-mast, reflecting the nation\'s profound respect for the martyrs. A special prayer session was held at the hospital\'s central mosque, seeking divine mercy and eternal peace for the departed souls who laid down their lives for the country.
